Angle-Dependent Synthesis Method for Holographic Multi-Feed Antennas

A novel synthesis method for holographic multi-feed antennas is presented to combine all sub-holograms into an angle-dependent shared aperture. In order find the global error minimum between aperture and ideal sub-holograms, a non-pixel-based genetic optimization used. For more accurately implementation of analytical impedance tensor eigenvector approach taking components account introduced. The optimized antenna has four feeds exemplary integration 2D-monopulse radar system realized on fused silica wafer due its lower loss at millimeter-wave frequencies compared Teflon-based materials. prototype provides measured gain 23 dBi, polarization purity 26and side-lobe level 20for feed 1, 2 4 reached across 76–81. S-parameters are from 60to 90, reflection coefficient –14and inter-port coupling <–38are achieved. patterns provide FOV 10, sum beam 26 dBi leading efficiency 45and differential beams show null depth 30.
